Saturday June 5, 2010 at 7:30 pm Concert to Benefit the ALS Hope Foundation Perelman Theater, Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts This was our fourth concert at Philadelphia's prestigious Kimmel Center (the home of the Philadelphia Orchestra) and many have told us that it was our best ever. The program included the world premiere of the second movement of Concerto in D, an original accordion concerto composed by our conductor, Dan Desiderio, and performed by the maestro himself accompanied by the orchestra. The program also included an original composition for oboe, guitar, accordion, and voice by Steve Senderoff, a musician living with ALS; a performance of Carnival of Venice by our own Andrea Maurer on flute accompanied by piano; and three beautiful duets by tenor Rudolfo Veneziano and soprano Elizabeth Patterson accompanied by the orchestra. Sunday May 2, 2010 at 3:00 pm Shannondell at Valley Forge Sunday October 25, 2009 at 3:00 pm Shannondell at Valley Forge The audience loved our Americana medley so much that they were marching and saluting in the aisles! Sunday April 19, 2009 at 2:00 pm Bergenfield High School Another successful concert with over 250 people in attendance! After receiving standing ovation following our closing number, a patriotic medly we call "Americana," the orchestra performed an encore to the delight of the audience. ________________ Sponsored by MunOpCo Music Theatre of Allentown (www.munopco.org) Scottish Rite Cathedral We were invited back to this beautiful concert hall following 2007's highly successful concert. ________________ Saturday June 21, 2008 at 2:00 pm Maddalena Belfiore Memorial Concert Hosted by the American Accordionsts Association Westchester Community College At this wonderful concert the Accordion Pops Orchestra was featured along with many well known accordionists including Eddie Monteiro, Mary Tokarski, Tony Dannon, Joe Cerrito, Beverly Roberts Curnow, William Schimmel, Robert McMahan, Mario Tacca (and his wife, vocal artist Mary Mancini), The Amazing Accordion Kings, Frank Toscano, Angelo DiPippo, and Manny Corallo. ________________ Concert to Benefit the ALS Hope Foundation Hunterdon Hills Playhouse In addition to usual accordion orchestra arrangements, our exciting program included something different: a flute and piano duet. Trinity Presbyterian Church is the location where the orchestra rehearses on Sunday afternoons, and it is only fitting that we presented a concert at the church for the congregation and friends as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Myron Floren, well known as "the happy Norwegian" accordionist on The Lawrence Welk Show from 1950 to 1982, was also a friend to the Accordion Pops Orchestra. Myron was the featured guest artist with the orchestra several years ago at the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse, and following his death in 2005 the orchestra returned to the Playhouse to perform a concert in his honor.
